MADAME PESTEL
(1869-1940)
Madame Pestel was the trading name of the photographer Ann Pestel (Chetham) who operated a studio in Eastbourne from 1900 until 1930. Pestel took over her husband’s (Henry Pestel, 1869-1900) photographic portrait studio at 49 Terminus Road, Eastbourne when he died in 1900 at the age of 32.
