MABEL LOMNITZ

(1859-1938)

Mabel Elizabeth Lomnitz was born in 1859 in Manchester. Between 1896 and 1914 she ran a photographic studio at 26 Victoria Street in London, which was then succeeded by photographers Florence Vandamm (1883-1966), Nora Katie Munday (1881-1972), Patricia Russell and Edith Matthew. A photograph by Lomnitz of Miss May was on the front cover of The Sketch on May 28, 1902. She died in Hove in 1938.
